Saturday Love...

Good morning, guys!!!  I don't know who's more excited about tonight:  me or the kids!!!  I can't wait to get out there and eat candy get candy for the kiddos!!!

I'm hoping everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Ours was pretty jam packed, but it won't slow down for me anytime soon.  My parents are here until Friday...such a blast!!!  So from now till about January 5, if I don't answer emails immediately, or you notise a slite increse in speling erers, yoo no y.  :)

I really wanted to do something special with Alyssia on Saturday, so we decided to take a Mommy and Me art class at Bubbles and Brushes art studio.  So...much...fun!!!

We started out making a great Halloween painting.  I really loved the project because it really did include the both of us!!!

A quick pose before painting

The finished product!!!  Trying to not to obsess over the upside down bat (OCD tendencies...)  I was just told it was a "crazy bat" so we're gonna roll with that...

We even got a chance to decorate a pumpkin!!!

The owner, Joanne, is such a sweetheart and so patient with all of the "artists" young and old!!! :)

If you get a chance, you really have to go!!!  And all for $10...I love it!!!  Visit their website at bubblesandbrushes.com!!!

Later that day, we had a birthday party to go to, where Lissy rode on a horse for the first time!!!

A little embarrased to say it was a first for me too!!!  But definitely something I would LOVE to do again!!!

Make it a great Monday!!!

Live Easy...

Good morning!!!  It's Friday...Yeah!!!  Just wanted to write a quick post before I head out to run around like a Thanksgiving turkey with its head cut off! :) Just found a little something to remind myself to "live easy" this weekend.  Even with the last minute costume changes, even with the fall festival planning, even with the kids coming home from college this weekend.  Just...live easy...

What do you do to live easy?

Enjoy the day!!!

Tired of Pumpkins???

Hey Guys!  I hope everyone is having a great day...It's absolutely gorgeous outside!!!  I find myself trying to find reasons to go out just to soak up a little more sun.  We all know what's coming.

Ok. So I don't know about you, but I think I am growing a little weary of these big orange veggies. Don't get me wrong. I love the inexaustible uses of the pumpkin as much as the next girl. Glittered pumpkins, colored pumpkins, dressed pumpkins. But I do think that there are so many interesting and new ways to decorate during this fall season! Let's explore a few more options, shall we, that don't involve pumpkins and that will be sure to take us right up to Thanksgiving Day!!!

Can you ever really go wrong with nuts and berries for fall decor???

Gorgeous!!!  And the use of color is AH-mazing!!!

Love, love, love the idea of using fresh vegetables in fall decor!!!

Love the use of twigs in this arrangement!!!  And the yellow roses are SO perfect!
The idea of using pears for place holders is so simple, yet so elegant!  They're pretty AND edible!!!
Feathers are HUGE this year!  Why not add some in your home!!!

Ok...So maybe I had to throw in just one :)

Enjoy the day!!!

Hello Again...

Well, well, well. I know. It's been a while. But can I just say I have missed blogging so much!!! Every time something amazing would happen in my life, I wanted to tell everyone about it.

Ok...so here's what I'll do. I'll catch everyone up on myself and what I do. If you didn't know me before, you will after this blog. And if you knew me before, maybe you'll learn something new! :) Ok...Let's get started.

This is me.

I was born and raised in Vienna, Ga. Nope, you haven't heard of it. And if you have, I'm wondering how. Vienna has had one traffic light for as long as I can remember. But I sure do love it!!!

This is hubs and me. Btw...He's my bestie.

These are the kiddos (cute ain't they?)...

Issachar's 9 and in the 4th grade and Alyssia's 5 and just started kindergarden...

I own my own business, Greenhouse Redesign, which I enjoy more than you could possibly imagine!!! I also have a booth in Downtown Newnan at Stairway to Heaven (11 1/2 Greenville St.). I love my parents dearly, and I am definitely not coming up short in the friend department.

I just recently started running and just completed my first 5k October 15. And can I just say that if completing a race of any kind is not on your bucket list, it definitely should be!

I love desserts. Like, LOVE desserts.

Ok...I think that's about it. I am SO excited about starting this blogging venture again!!! Here's hoping you'll join me on every step of this journey!!!

Hugs and Kisses...
